Rich in landscape and history, Glenlyon is irresistible to outdoor types for climbing mountains, enjoying a coffee and cake at Bridge of Balgie post office or just doing a scenic drive. Walking trails and water/land activities abound.

At the entrance to the Glen in the thatched village of Fortingall reputed to be the birthplace of Pontius Pilot and home to the 5000 year old Fortingall Yew;

Aberfeldy has a fabulous selection of shops and cafes, with a wonderful well stocked deli with heaps of delicious local produce, a supermarket for the rest of the essentials and lovely gift shops
